Orange Money is a money transfer service that is linked to a bank account (Unlike other money transfer services) to allow customers access financial services using their Orange mobile phone numbers. When you register for Orange Money you actually get a special Bank Account that sits at Equity bank which you will now operate on your Orange Phone.
If you have an existing Equity account, you do not need to open a new one to access Orange Money – you can just link your existing account to Orange Money.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION ( You need not have Orange Money account when applying for this debit card)
Present original and copy of ID Card to any Orange Shop, Orange Money outlet, Equity Agent or Equity Bank branch.
Have an active Orange line
Complete the existing Orange Money Customer Application Form (remember to indicate the Equity Bank Branch where you will prefer to collect your card)
