Scholarships for Year 2012 / 2013

The Government of the Republic of Korea is offering two (2) full scholarships to Kenyans for undergraduate for the 2012/2013 academic year.

The Areas of study are in the field of Engineering, Sciences, Technology and Medicine.
 
Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

Minimum KCSE Mean Grade of B (plain).
Not more than 25 years of age by March, 2013.
Strong grades on the major subjects that are key to the specialty preferred
Completed Secondary Education in the last three (3) years.
Has KCSE certificate

The new exam dates are as follows:
KCPE 2012: December 4th, 5th and 6th 2012
KCSE 2012: Starts on October 15th 2012 with assessment of orals.
Practicals assessment will be done between 25th and 30th October 2012
Theory/written exams will be between November 12 and December 11th 2012.
The 2013 term dates are as follows:
Term 1 will start on Monday
February 4, 2013 to Friday May 17, 2013.
Term 2 will start on Monday June 3 to Friday September 6, 2013,
while Term 3 starts on Monday September 30, 2013 to Friday
November 29, 2013.

JAB has finalised the selection of KCSE 2011 candidates to join various universities. The reporting dates for each university will however vary epending on the university’s academic calendar.

The Joint Admissions Board (JAB) has announced the revision of degree choices for KCSE 2011 candidates  to be between 14th and 31st May 2012. This is a chance given to those students who meet the minimum cut off points for university admission to APPLY for university admission, OR to revise the degree choices they made while still in school.
