The Joint Admissions Board (JAB) has announced the revision of degree choices for KCSE 2011 candidates  to be between 14th and 31st May 2012. This is a chance given to those students who meet the minimum cut off points for university admission to APPLY for university admission, OR to revise the degree choices they made while still in school.
This exercise will be for those who attained a mean grade of  B (63 points for boys and 61 points for girls) in KCSE 2011.

CPS EXAMINATION TIME …

As of 16th March 2012, the University of Nairobi is sending out letters to all KCSE 2010 candidates who have been admitted to that University, notifying them of the their admission.
The letters do not have the opening dates for KCSE 2010 candidates as yet. The date is likely to be in October 2012, but the exact date is not set as of 16th March 2012.
The Timpata shall follow up on this and we shall continuously update this post with the latest information that we gather.

Despite the increased public demand for information on how to access KCSE 2011 results online, the Kenya National Examination Council’s website is down, as it does every other year when results are released.
To use the SMS service, send a message with the index number to 5052. The SMS option however is also taking long to give send back the results.
The Timpata is following on this closely and will update this post on The Timpata website and our facebook page immediately we have a reliable means of accessing the results.

The government  has rescheduled Kenya’s  school calendar as follows:
The first term will last 15 weeks, second term 14 weeks while third term will this year have 9 weeks.

First term will be from Tuesday 3rd January, 2012 to Friday 13th April 2012.
Second term begins on Monday 7th May, 2012 to Friday 10th August 2012
Third term will be from Monday 3rd September 2012 to Friday 2nd November 2012.
