Moi University Opening Dates for KCSE 2009 and 2010 candidates.

Here are the new reporting dates for all Moi University students (Undergraduate) in its Campuses (Main, Town, Town Annex, Kiptagich, Eldoret West,Kitale, Odera Akang’o-Yala, Southern Nyanza – Rongo, Kericho, Nairobi and Coast):

A. NEW STUDENTS (1ST YEARS)

1. MONDAY 11TH JULY, 2011 (PSSP* AND 2009 KCSE GOVERNMENT SPONSORED STUDENTS)

Reporting and Registration of students in the following  Schools:-

  • Information Sciences
  • Business and Economics
  • Education
  • Arts and Social Sciences
  • Public Health
  • Human Resource Development

2. MONDAY 8 TH  AUGUST 2011

Reporting and Registration of students in the school of Aerospace Sciences

3. MONDAY 29TH AUGUST 2011 (PSSP AND 2009 & 2010 KCSE GOVERNMENT SPONSORED  STUDENTS)

Reporting and Registration of students in the following Schools:-

  • Law
  • Engineering

4 MONDAY 24 TH OCTOBER 2011 (PSSP AND 2009 & 2010 KCSE GOVERNMENT SPONSORED  STUDENTS)

Reporting and Registration of students in the following Schools:-

  • Medicine
  • Dentistry.

B. CONTINUING STUDENTS

1. MONDAY 18 TH  JULY, 2011

Students in the following schools:-

  • Information Sciences
  • Business and Economics
  • Education
  • Arts and Social Sciences
  • Public Health
  • Human Resource Development

Registration will take place from THURSDAY 14TH JULY, 2011

Lectures for new and continuing students will commence on MONDAY 18TH JULY, 2011 at 8.00am

2. MONDAY 8TH AUGUST 2011

Reporting and Registration of students in the schools of:-

Aerospace Sciences

Reporting and Registration of students in the schools of:-

  • Aerospace Sciences and Engineering.

Reporting and registration of 4 th year students on field attachments/teaching practice in the following schools:-

  • Education
  • Arts & Social Sciences
  • Business & Economics
  • Human Resource Development   and
  • 3rd years – Bachelor of Hotel and HospitalityManagement .

3. MONDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER 2011

Students in the  School of Law.

  • Registration will take place from THURSDAY 1st September, 2011
  • Lectures for new and continuing students will commence on Monday 5th September 2011

4. MONDAY 31ST OCTOBER 2011

Students in the following schools:-

Medicine and Dentistry.

  • Registration will take place from THURSDAY 27th October, 2011
  • Lectures for new and continuing students will commence on MONDAY 31st October  2011 at 8.00am

C. SUPPLEMENTARY AND SPECIAL EXAMINATIONS

Monday 15th August  – Friday 26th August, 2011

Supplementary/Special Examinations

Students are advised to check examination results with their respective Deans.

D. PAYMENT OF FEES

All students are reminded that  fees as indicated in their respective fee schedules should be paid by Banker’s Cheques or deposited at any of the following Bank Branches countrywide:

Note: No Student will be allowed to attend classes before paying requisite fees in full and/or clearing any arrears.

E. HELB LOAN

All eligible students should check for their HELB Loans in their respective banks before reporting.

F. ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is not guaranteed on campus and students may be required to make private arrangements in advance.

*PSSP means : Privately Sponsored Students Program commonly referred to as the Parallel  program

    I saw this in the paper, does it mean that Law and Engineering students will be admitted on 29th Aug this year if you secure a chance at Moi University?

    @Joseph: That will varry from University to University depending on how they schedule their academic calendar to accommodate the double intake expected. However, we hope these will be released in good time.

    @Athman, Please contact Moi University directly for details on this. In case your letter is too late to arrive, you are allowed to go collect it at the Univeristy’s main office.
